SpiritHorse Licensing Program

SpiritHorse is very pleased to announce its Global Licensing Program. We started slowly to get the kinks out of the program. However this program is already in great demand! We have trained and certified more than two-hundred and twenty five Equine-Assisted Healthcare Instructors in US, Eastern Europe, Mexico, and South America and licensed 33 centers worldwide! . Charles Fletcher, Founder/CEO held a clinic in Pardubice, Czech Republic in 2009 and certified 15 instructors from centers throughout the republic. We licensed SpiritHorse Apolenka, which serves over 250 children each week. We have clinics scheduled in the Czech Republic, South Africa, and Mexico in the summer of 2010. The total number of clients served by SpiritHorse Licensed Centers worldwide is over 1600. This brings the total number of clients served by SpiritHorse to over 2000! In order to be licensed by SpiritHorse, a therapeutic riding center must meet several requirements, including:

1. Personnel must be trained and certified as equine-assisted healthcare instructors by SpiritHorse, Texas. Training is free of charge.
2. SpiritHorse methods and curriculums must be followed exactly and SpiritHorse standards must be met.
3. A safe operation.

In return, a licensed center can use the SpiritHorse registered trademark, becomes a 501 (c) 3 and a 509 (a) 1 tax exempt organization under our group permit and can send their first grant applications upon signing the license agreement., grant proposal templates, database system, and receive free training for their instructors, development personnel, and administrative staff. They may represent themselves as part of a large group whose quality and safety are overseen by the largest and most advanced equine-assisted therapy center in the world.

The license fee is $1.00 or the equivalent lowest paper currency bill in other countries. This is not intended to be an income producing program for SpiritHorse. We have as our mission serving people with disabilities, children who are victims of abuse, and at-risk-youth everywhere. Our goal is to be serving over 10,000 children weekly by 2014!
